DESCRIPTION
A proper kapsalon: fries, chicken shawarma, melted cheese and a fresh layer of tomato and onion. Only this one has 39 grams of protein and 535 kcal, instead of the thousand you get at the takeaway.
The difference comes down to three things. The shawarma is chicken fillet with 91% meat, seasoned with the mix a good shop uses too — cumin, turmeric, paprika, coriander, bay leaf. The sauce is a light fritessaus: barely any oil, so the flavour stays and the fat does not. And at 330 grams this is a full tray, not a side plate.

A kapsalon lives or dies by its fries, and the microwave turns them soft. That is why this one goes in the air fryer: the fries crisp up again, the cheese melts over them and the chicken stays juicy.
1. Take the kapsalon out of its packaging and put it in your air fryer basket.
2. 15 minutes at 150 °C — straight from the freezer, no need to defrost.
3. Give the basket a shake halfway through so everything heats evenly.
4. Ready as soon as the cheese has melted. Enjoy your meal!
